I would like to thank Dr. Wojciech Bulczynski and the entire staff at Newton Wellesley Orthopedic Associates for their expert treatment of a ruptured disc in my lower spine. The entire process was as helpful and "painless" as possible, from first appointment, to surgery, and with follow-up visits! I definitely don't recommend back injury, but should it happen, I highly recommend this practice, and Dr. Bulczynski in particular.

I'd like to thank Dr. Saud Sadiq, my MS neurologist here in New York City. Not only is he an outstanding clinical physician, but he also leads a cutting edge research group, and, above all, is a first-class human being who cares deeply about his patients. Despite treating a patient population who suffer from a so far incurable disease, Dr. Sadiq manages to inspire hope despite the hardships. His clinic is run like none I've ever experienced, filled with caring people who exude genuine warmth. Every phone call is returned that day, the staff social workers and physical therapists provide invaluable services, and he even has a naturopath as part of the crew. On top of all that, no pharmaceutical representatives are allowed in the offices, and Dr. Sadiq's clinic, the Tisch MS Center, is one of the few medical offices in which you'll find no drug name emblazoned pens, posters, Post-it notes, or other such paraphernalia. Dr. Sadiq is truly blazing his own path, hopefully towards a cure for MS.

I'd also like to thank Dr. Wiley Hembree, my recently retired endocrinologist. Dr. Hembree is above all a gentleman, erudite in every sense of the word. He was very much a Dr. of the "old school", possessing an inquisitiveness and deep concern for his patients that seems to be increasingly lost among too many of today's younger breed of physicians. Dr. Hembree always put his patients humanity among all else, and I will truly miss his gentle way of doctoring.

Thank you is not enough for Dr. Nizar Chahin, a neurologist at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. In June of 2013, I was seen by him & hospitalized for IVIG infusions. My diagnosis is CIDP, a disease I had never heard of before. I was so weak I couldn't stand from a sitting position, couldn't step down into my living room & couldn't use my hands. After a couple of IVIG treatmens (I had 4 in the hospital) I was feeling much better. I have been having infusions in the infusion center since then & just spent last weekend in the hospital for more. I know without a shadow of doubt that I am alive now only through God's love & care & the care & concern of Dr Chahin. Thank you.

Thank you Dr Akhtar, for taking such great care of my dad over the last two years. My dad was rushed to the hospital the day after Christmas 2 years ago and diagnosed with Endocarditis. After EXTREMEMLY fast action by the entire WakeMed ER team and continued care in the ICU, Dr Akhtar has led the charge in treating my dad's heart condition. Thank you, Dr Akhtar, and the entire WakeMed team, for saving my dad's life.
